What is Piedmont's Disconnect Policy?

Our ability to provide reliable service depends upon the timely receipt of your payment. Once an account is processed for disconnection, the total amount of all charges and a $75 processing fee must be received in the Atlanta office before reconnection of water service is ordered.

There is also a $30 charge on all returned checks—after two (2) returned checks, Piedmont will only accept money orders.

We do not accept Western Union, pay by phone or credit card payments. Only check or money orders are accepted.

***Warning: Meter tampering is considered theft of service and is punishable by a minimum $250 fine and is punishable in a court of law.
